If you bought your SIM or made a SIM change after October 2020, it will not be necessary. However, if it is before that date, your SIM will be old and... the change is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended:

  • We know that old SIM cards do not "get along" with modern terminals. The SIM card - mobile phone relationship is very close and if both are not "up to date", they will eventually fail (such as occasional network loss or contact reading problems).
  • SIMs with the most advanced technologies allow you to enjoy benefits such as enhanced security, automatic SIM updates, guarantee of compatibility with new services and improvements to the user experience.

 

 

 

 

In an attempt to bring these benefits to all our customers with older SIMs, we are launching this campaign to make SIM upgrade free of charge.

Our distributor will exchange your current SIM card for the new SIM card and you will receive it activated and ready to use.

We send your SIM for FREE. For your security, the SIM that you will receive will be deactivated.

WILL I KEEP THE SAME PHONE NUMBER, BALANCE AND SERVICES THAT I CURRENTLY HAVE ON THE NEW SIM?

Of course you will. Your phone number, balance and services will remain on the new card.

WILL I KEEP THE NUMBERS I HAVE ON MY MOBILE?

The numbers that are saved in your terminal will be kept, however the numbers that are in the memory of the previous SIM will NOT be automatically transferred to the new SIM. You will have to do this process by yourself, either by synchronising your contacts with your Google account or by transferring them to the phone memory.

ARE YOU SURE I DON'T HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING FOR THE NEW CARD?

Yes, we are. Both the new SIM card and its delivery are totally free, at no cost to you. Likewise, if you choose to upgrade your card at a Hits Distributor, you will not have to pay anything either.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE THE NEW SIM CARD ONCE I ORDER IT?

If you order it directly from one of our distributors, you will receive your new SIM card immediately and already activated.

If you ask us to deliver it to your home, our delivery time is 7 to 10 working days, once your order has been validated. We will keep you updated on the progress of your delivery: we will send you a confirmation email as soon as your order is completed. Check that the delivery address is correct. If you need to change anything, please contact our Customer Service on 1212 or clientes@hitsmobile.es.

When we have your shipping ready, we will send you an email and SMS. We will include a tracking number that you can use on the CORREOS website (www.correos.es) to keep track of the status of your shipping at all times.

WILL I EVER BE LEFT WITHOUT A MOBILE LINE IF THE NEW SIM TAKES A LONG TIME TO ARRIVE?

Not at all! Your SIM will continue to work without any problems until you receive and activate the new SIM.

For your security and peace of mind, the SIM card we send you is deactivated. Please, note that until you receive your new SIM and activate it, the "old" SIM will remain active and will be working as usual.

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO WITH THE NEW SIM CARD WHEN I RECEIVE IT?

As soon as you receive your new SIM card, you must activate it by logging into your Customer Hits Space in the section MY SERVICES -> 'SIM Activation'. You can also do it through our APP in the 'SIM Activation' section.

If the SIM renewal is through one of our distributors, remember that he will be the one who will give you the new SIM card already activated.
